Gatwick Diamond Economic Growth Forum

Adam Walker represented Crickmay at the Gatwick Diamond Economic Growth Forum on the 4th June. The event was held at the Arora Hotel in Crawley and was attended by both business leaders of the region alongside many representatives from universities, local authorities, and business support groups.
The main topic of conversation focused on the future of Gatwick and the sub region: whether or not the outcome of the eagerly awaited Sir Howard Davies’ Commission’s Report finds in favour of a second runway at Gatwick (photo Nick Dunn CFO Gatwick Airport talking to Daryl Gayler Regional Director of RBS). A number of occupiers debated the general shortage of land, and buildings for expansion and relocation, but with development opportunities in the pipeline there was a general air of optimism.
