Crickmay Chartered Surveyors complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and is registered as a ‘Data Controller’ with the Information Commissioner’s Office (Reg. No. ZA158908).  We ensure that your personal data is processed fairly, kept safe and secure and retained for no longer than is necessary.

Should we ask you to provide any information by which you can be identified when attending an event, making an e-mail enquiry or visiting our website, or through a relationship with us, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. This personal information may be shared with internal departments or with external parties involved in delivering our service to you.

We may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services and may provide such aggregate information to third parties. These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual.

Telephone calls may be monitored or recorded for training and compliance purposes.

From time to time we may provide your information to our customer service agencies for research and analysis purposes so that we can monitor and improve the services we provide. We or our agents and sub-contractors may contact you by post, e-mail or telephone to ask you for your feedback and comments on our services.

2. How we protect your information

The internet is not a secure medium. However we have put in place various security procedures as set out in this policy.

Information security is one of our highest priorities at Crickmay, Chartered Surveyors. We limit access to personal information about you to those authorised employees and agents who need to know the information to provide products and services to you.

We also keep your information confidential. The internal procedures of Crickmay, Chartered Surveyors cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information.

3. Re-organisation or sale of business

If this business is re-organised, sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.

We may also e-mail you should we make any changes so that you may consent to our use of your information in that way. Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to any such changes.
