Horsham Property Market - An agents perspective

Market - July 25th 2020

Our office has remained open throughout the lock down albeit with reduced cover. As we come out the other side it is good to see more life in the office as we juggle bringing back staff with the increase in activity.

For those that have remained at the ‘coal face’ life has been busy.  Despite the doom and gloom, we have seen continued demand from independent retailers and have managed to progress a number of lettings in both the office and retail sector.

It is fair to say that the national retailers have been quite despite the notable  interest in the Town pre lock down from some exciting names.  It is however clear these national brands have been focusing on managing their existing portfolio rather than looking at expansion, but we are confident that as life starts to get back to normal and we see a return to vibrancy on the High Street that national retailers will start to look again at expansion and from early signs we are confident that Horsham will be high on their target list being an attractive, well established market Town with an increasing population and limited retail stock.
